I don't think the HomePod has any kind of time limit on music playback (assuming that your playlist or music library is long enough). Also and unfortunately, if seems like the HomePod has no sleep timer for music playback nor any way to limit playback to a certain length of time, nothing like 'Hey Siri, play music for thirty minutes.'
- There is no option to reduce bass on the HomePod. Like you I do find it a little bass heavy sometimes. You may find that repositioning the speaker can help. It adjusts itself when moved and you might find that placing it on a different surface changes the characteristics. Use Feedback - HomePod - Apple to let Apple know you would like some.
- Feb 10, 2018 The problem is only two speakers (woofer and tweeter), and Apple has tuned the HomePod to give listeners a LOT of bass, which probably duplicates Beats headphones, which are supposed to be bass heavy. Apple did this because 95% of their listeners don't know what quality sound is like, having been raised on heavily compressed MP4 sound files.
- I finally got around to putting the HomePod in a small room today (approximately 10x12'). Now I see why people were skeptical when I said there is no bass. In the small room, there is too MUCH bass. Also, after trying it in a larger room for talk radio/comedy, I noticed it is too bass heavy. For music in a large room, the bass is still way too low.
Italic font free download. However, there have been a good number of reports that the HomePod will not play certain songs and given the latter it would seem possible that whenever the HomePod encounters such a song it will just stop the playback even if you've requested a playlist or music source that contains additional content. So, maybe that is what you are experiencing.
Also, it's certainly possible that there is a bug that just stops playback randomly and you're just seeing that on average each hour or two. It may even be a network error since if the HomePod can't connect to one of Apple's servers it would have no option other than to stop playback.
